GIBRALTAR DEFENCE FORCE STATUE. LOCATED AT CASEMATES SQUARE.
THIS STATUE IS SYMBOLIC OF THE ROLE UNDERTAKEN OF THE DEFENCE OF GIBRALTAR DURING WW2 AND IS DEDICATED TO ALL GIBRALTARIANS WHO SERVED IN THE GIBRALTAR VOLUNTEER CORPS, THE GIBRALTAR DEFENCE FORCE AND THE GIBRALTAR REGIMENT.

ROYAL ENGINEERS MONUMENT.
LOCATED ON MAIN STREET.
PRESENTED TO THE PEOPLE OF GIBRALTAR BY THE CORPS OF ROYAL ENGINEERS TO COMMEMORATE THE CONTINOUS SERVICE GIVEN BY THE CORPS ON THE ROCK OF GIBRALTAR FROM 1704 AND THE FORMATATION HERE IN 1772 OF THE FIRST BODY OF SOLDIERS OF THE CORPS, THEN KNOWN AS THE `COMPANY OF ROYAL ARTIFICERS'. 26TH MARCH 1994.

LOCATED AT LINE WALL ROAD.
ERECTED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO COMMEMORATE THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND COMRADESHIP OF THE AMERICAN AND BRITISH NAVIES IN THIS VICINITY DURING THE WORLD WAR.

LINE WALL ROAD.
THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED BY THE PEOPLE OF GIBRALTAR TO COMMEMORATE THE GREAT WAR.
`TO THE MEMORY OF ALL OFFICERS AND SEAMEN OF THE GIBRALTAR STRAITS PATROL WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR KING AND EMPIRE IN THE GREAT WAR'.

BEDENHAM MEMORIAL.
QUEENSWAY QUAY.
ON FRIDAY 27TH APRIL 1951, WHILST TIED UP ALONGSIDE THIS ORDNANCE WHARF NEAR A POINT NOW CALLED BEDENHAM STEPS, THE NAVAL VESSEL RFA BEDENHAM LOADED WITH 500 TONS OF AMMUNITION BLEW UP CAUSING WIDESPREAD DESTRUCTION THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF GIBRALTAR.

ERECTED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF GIBRALTAR ON THE 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR AND UNVEILED BY THE CHIEF MINISTER THE HON. PETER R CURUANA QC. ON THE 28TH OCTOBER 2005.
